A random day in October, 6.30 Am – The alarm is ringing incessantly and I want to hurl it across the room. I have been blogging up to the wee hours again and I’m seriously sleep deprived.
It’s time for Miss P to get ready for school and I grumpily sleepwalk over to her room. As I drag lift her lovingly out of bed, she gives me that excited smile only a child at that time of the day can and she excitedly says, “Maaaa!! I know what I want to be on Halloween –A super girl“.
This has been going on for a week. Every morning, it’s a different story. One day it was Elsa, one day Barbie and one day she wanted to be the Titanic. Yup! the ship. Cos Mom, It was the strongest ship in the world. Unbreakable. But, it broke and it sank, I sigh wearily and the idea is quickly dropped.
Like any good mom, I ignored got busy with important stuff and forgot all about actually making the costume. Now, I find myself on the eve of Halloween, costume-less and panicking!
Since you are here and reading this post, I assume you are a woman after my own heart. High five, sister! But don’t worry; it is exactly for moms like us that we’ve put together this list of really cool last minute (and in some cases, last-second) Halloween costume ideas for kids.
