Birthday Party Theme – Pink, some bling and everything circular
We have a new member to the artsy-craftsy family Prachi who blogs at purplehomes
Here’s what she says about her entry –
“For my daughter’s first birthday I made everything from scratch. For the apple of my eye, I wanted a lot of pink, some bling and wanted everything circular.
I really put my heart into making this happen for her. I handcrafted her birthday invite, a thank you card, a Wishing tree, A wall decor piece, A Pink mobile, A Big “One” for the front door, Food Placards & Party Favors. For flowers, I used ice buckets with polka dotted ribbon, for the buffet table I used painted inverted cake tins to give the table a certain dimension and used lots of pink balloons.
For more details & how I went about it all…here is the link to my original post:

My tip for those who love creating magical parties would be to select a theme and then follow it right through the invite, room decor, tablescape, party favors, et al. And ofcourse nothing like handcrafted love for your dear ones. That just makes everything so special.”
and now the pics..
