Who is Artsycraftsymom?

Well, hello there! It’s time to come out from behind my brand name and introduce myself.
I’m Shruti Acharya, also known as the “mom” who is “Artsy Craftsy”. Crafting has been a passion of mine since I was a kid, and when my daughter was born, I couldn’t wait to start crafting with her and relive those joyful moments.
After years of craft blogging and sharing my ideas with parents all around the world, I’ve come to realize that I’m not just creating fun projects – I’m providing valuable content for parents who want to bond with their children through crafting.
But don’t take my word for it! In today’s fast-paced, digital world, our children need more than just screens and devices. They need to learn the joy of creating with their hands, and the earlier we start, the better.
That’s why my mission is to spread the joy of crafting, one child at a time.
So come on in and explore the wonderful world of Artsy Craftsy Parenting with me! Let’s make some memories, learn new skills, and have fun together!
Why Blog?
I started ArtsyCraftsyMom partly to chronicle and share my experiences crafting with my then 3-year-old and also as a way for me to focus more on what it means to me to be an Artsy Craftsy Mom.
I want to parent in a way that encourages creative expression, imagination, joyfulness, and a love of learning, not just in my daughters but in our entire family. I wanted to welcome others to join me as I attempted to be an Artsy Craftsy Mom.
ArtsyCraftsyMom is an award-winning blog …
The blog has received mentions from well-established sites & print media including Times of India, Women’s Web, Timeout Mumbai, Timeout Delhi among others. My crafts have been regularly featured in leading Children’s magazines – Child Magazine & Mother’s World by Mahindra Retail.
