My girl turned 5 this month πŸ™‚ what an amazing journey it has been.
The 1st yearΒ

Ages 1-2
Ages 2-3

I won’t be sharing her pics from the last 2 years for obvious reasons..

What has changed? Well for starters.. we get 5 kisses at any time – one on the right cheek ,one on the forehead, one on the left cheek, one on the chin & one on the Nose πŸ™‚ . She takes 5 sips of water at a time, eats 5 biscuits for Tea and is happy when she sees any thing that is a set of 5 – Hi-5 , 5 fingers on my hand, Mumma you pick me up at 5Pm because I’m 5!! Star is her fav shape because, – Yes its got 5 corners..

If we need her to hurry up , we count down from 5.. Its Crazy, yet so much Fun! πŸ™‚

For her 5th Birthday, We had a Flowery Theme – Here are the pics from the party..
The Invite
The cake
Β The Decorations
Β We made about 26Β  Tissue paper Flowers
Β The kids painted a few flower coloring pages, made some icecream stick flowers with cutouts in their kits, and each kid made a Giant Paper Flower like the one above. I had done all the folding and cutting earlier, the kids just opened up each petal to reveal the magic – as my daughter put it πŸ˜€
Β There were Flowery Straws
Β And Flowery masks
Finally the Happy Birthday Girl with all her presents πŸ™‚

    Happy Birthday, little one.. πŸ™‚

And Shruthi, if at all I try some craft and art-work at home with my kids, you will be ‘solely’ responsible for it!:) The tissue paper flowers, the masks and the entire party planning is awesome. You rock!:)

@R’s mom: She wanted a nature themed party… I just made it a flowery one.
@Knottygal: Aww.. cmon.. The only reason we celebrate her birthday is so that we get to meet all friends n relatives. Hubby has a very big family and most stay in Bangalore. We hardly meet the year around and birthdays just give us an excuse to meet them all under one roof. and we celebrate it in a big way every odd year.
@S&S: Thank You Thank you. It is fun.. n I like planning n crafting πŸ™‚
@Swaram: haha. I enjoyed my 30th Bday πŸ˜‰ for the same reason.
@Creativemama: πŸ™‚ I am not comfortable.. but i think most ppl now know what she looks like so.. I might just start putting up her pics suddenly 1 day..
    @Thendral: Thank you.
@vatsala: Thank you sooo much πŸ™‚
You are new here? Welcome welcome.
@Trish: U bake I craft.. πŸ™‚ just doing stuff that is fun..
@RS: Everyone at home helped – My parents, my sis, My colleague, Hubby, father in law and a cousin πŸ™‚
