If you’re looking for a Creative Handprint Dracula Craft for Halloween, we got you! This one features a dracula with handprint hair and a cute smile!

One character you’re likely to come across during Halloween is Count Dracula. Being a blood-sucking vampire, it’s no surprise that people would run from him, scared out of their wits. But what if Dracula saw a monster bigger than him and got scared?

Well, we believe his hair would stand on end, like he got an electrical shock!

Since we decided to get creative this Halloween, we thought this would be a fun scenario to convert into a Halloween craft, and that’s how we came up with a handprint Dracula craft – where the fingers of the handprint represent the hair standing up!

Everything else in our craft stays true to the original character – well-dressed in a black suit, proudly displaying an aristocratic cape. It’s just the hair that reveals that Dracula has had a good scare himself!

So if you’re ready to get a little creative with Count Dracula this Halloween, let’s go!

Supplies required:

  • Thick craft paper in black, purple, red and white
  • Pencil
  • A pair of scissors
  • Craft glue
  • Black sharpie

How to make the Handprint Dracula Craft:

1. Download and print the Handprint Dracula Craft template. The template includes parts of Mr. Dracula, including his body, face, cape, bow, hands, fangs and eyes. The template also includes a handprint outline, but you can also use your own. If that’s the case, simply press your hands on the craft paper of your choice and draw an outline of the entire palm with a pencil. Here, the handprint serves as Dracula’s head + hair.

2. Trace the parts of the template on craft paper of the appropriate color and cut them out. We’ve stuck to the expected choice of colors here – black for the head and body, purple for the face and hands, red for the cape and bow, as well as white for the fangs and eyes. Lay out all the parts of your handprint Dracula craft as shown below.

3. Start by sticking the face on the handprint, i.e. Dracula’s head. If your handprint is bigger than the face cutout, you may need to trim the excess, or you can leave it as is. Use a black Sharpie to draw pupils on the eye circles.
