As a parent, it’s extremely easy to worry about your child’s future. You want the very best for them. Every step they take, every milestone they cross, You are right there waiting with bated breath. Nothing ever prepares you for this amazing journey..

But life has its own agenda and throws uncertainties your way from time to time. A very close family friend of ours died in an accident recently. A young father, he left behind 2 small kids and a shocked family. I am paralyzed by my over analysis, I over think and try very hard to predict what will happen if it were me… or my husband.  And when we can’t pinpoint how things will play out, we stress and get anxious.

Every parent can’t help but worry about their child’s future but instead of just worrying, parents need to start planning for their child’s future.

Its a beautiful video about a Single Father of an autistic child and their journey through life. At each point life throws obstacles at him – His wife’s death, A child who is autistic, losing his job and yet managing to come through it all smiling , confident and fearless.

What touched me, when I saw the video, was how calmly & lovingly the dad tackles each day and yet is strong, resilient & fearless when he is faced with difficult bends in his life.. What gave him that strength? That fearlessness to live his dream – opening his own shop one day & putting his child through a very good school?

I guess we have to lift our spirits and find that strength within us to do the best we can for us & for our Children.  #KhudKoKarBuland campaign speaks of the same.
