Today in lil P’s school they have a drama enaction of – the very busy spider.. n lil P is the PIG! For people who have not read this book and are wondering what a pig is doing in a spider story, here’s the summary..

Well The school just told us that lil p would have to go dressed as a pig! We searched on the net, asked a few colleagues and then we got to know about sringar ( branches in jayanagar & Ulsoor)

My friends driver picked it up for me yesterday.. I had very high expectations of fancy dresses after having seen this earlier. however it was not to be.. what could i expect to get for 125 rs.. The costume looked like it was stitched for any age between 2 – 8 and had to be folded at various spots just so that lil P would not swim in it.. n the worst part was it did not look like a PIG!!! Lil P looked like a cute pink cow!! .. Argh!! among the 2 of us ( me & PC) we must have searched at least 15 shops if they had a pig mask.. no where. In a local shop next door I found a mask for a bull.. complete with horns and painted red and yellow. the whole evening was spent in trying to make a mask that looked like a pig!! i’m now an expert on pigs.. having studied their facial characteristics , their expressions, the depth.. the complexion… any doubt u can call me!!

So somehow with my limited craft knowledge .I cut a section of the egg carton and make a nose. After much circus I was able to turn a bull mask into a pig mask. Some funny moments captured.

PS: changed the title! I thot this was more apt !!
