It may be hard to believe, but Christmas is right around the corner. Yikes! It means a very busy time of year is steadily sneaking up on me– Do you feel that too? Especially if you have young children. There are presents to buy and wrap, the Christmas tree will have to be dug out of the basement and put together not to mention decorated lights will have to be put up, cookies to be baked, and that’s not even the tip of the holiday iceberg.
While this time of year may seem hectic for us mums, for children it’s magical. One fun, free activity that is sure to get any child in the holiday spirit is to write a letter to Santa. To get started, I am sharing our

Here’s a letter to Santa perfect for the little ones to fill out. They can fill in their age, what they’d like to receive for Christmas, and how they’ve been behaving. This activity is great for encouraging writing. Tell Santa what you would like for Christmas and why. Keep your list short and really think about what you would like. If you want Santa to bring things for your family then make sure you mention it.

If you want all of your Christmas wishes brought by the big guy, you’ll need to make sure your letter makes it to him. The closer you get the letter to Santa, the more likely you are to win! But watch out for the wily Krampus, out to dash your yuletide dreams!
