One more decor item associated with ganesh puja is his umbrella – The umbrella that’s given along with the Idol is struck to the back with clay. I remember collecting it every year for almost so many years. .. One of the comments brought back memories.. so here is a lil umbrella for ganesha..

    I actually wanted to make the sinhasana with umbrella.. No time with daughter’s fancy dress today.

    It does look good. So does the glass ganesha.
    I used to paint on glass and paste an aluminium sheet behind, for a silver sheen 🙂

    Ya! me too!! I’ll share the pic. i never had a good camera so some of the pics might not be that good. 🙂

    Very nice umbrella.
    Sould try making one for atleast one of the 350 + ganeshjis that I have.
