Monika had picked up some painted canvas shoes for her son, and they had unfortunately turned out  the wrong size. I saw her post of FB and thought, yeah! I could paint that! .. If you know me, I love to paint stuff but absolutely hate maintaining it,so I asked monika if I could paint it for her. I was not sure how they would turn out as I had never painted a shoe before. She very enthusiastically bought a pair of white BATA canvas shoes and I ended up painting this for her.. I used Acrylic colours & a pen.  What do you think?

Very amateurish, I know! but the kid loved it.. and that makes me very very happy. Thanks Monika for letting me experiment  on them πŸ™‚

Not at all amateurish! It is such a splendid idea! Love the expression on each of the shoes, like they’re sharing a joke. Super!

I love your ideas… so creative and easy to do with little kids.

This one reminds me of something I tried for my nephew some time ago. He wanted ice, water and fire (and children, but I convinced him to leave those out).
