We decided to make some pretty Rainbow Loom Bracelets at our home. Is your house covered in these mini colorful rubber loom bands too?  I love that both boys and girls have caught on to this craze. So it was only natural that my daughter wanted to make bracelets for her classroom valentines.

How To Get The Printable Friendship Bracelet Cards Ready

The cards are super easy to make if you download our free Friendship Bracelet Cards template.

Download and print the Free PDF in color on white cardstock. Cut out the cards. I have 4 different designs that you can print on an A4 sheet. 

For Valentine’s Day, I will add another page that doesn’t say Happy Friendship Day. There is also a space to write the To & From Names. Cut out each mini card. 

I made an easy crochet chain in neon colors using paracord. This was our first try!

Working on a self-healing cutting mat, use a craft knife to cut a slit on each side of the wrist to weave the Friendship Bracelet through. The size of the slit will depend on how bulky your bracelet is but aim for between 1 and 1.5 inches. As you can see, this caused the card to tear as there wasn’t enough width to pass the cord through.

Now the loom bands posed a different problem. The slit was too small to pass them through. Better still, punch holes on each side of the wrist. We had to punch several holes together to make a hole just big enough to slip the bracelet through. Weave the loom band through the holes and secure it at the back.
