Quails are quaint little birds that tend to live on the ground, even building nests among the grass. I didn’t know much about quails except for hearing about them on cooking shows! But these little birds are unique in their own way, with that distinctive plume. Learning more about this little bird led us to making a Q for Quail Craft!

Steps to make this Q for Quail Craft:
Print the Craft template on an A4 or Letter Sized paper. Cut out all the parts – the grey body and head, black face, wing and head as well as the yellow beak.
Use these cutout templates as your reference points and trace onto Felt. We used a 2mm stiff felt to make this craft. Alternately, you could use construction paper or craft foam in similar colors.
Use a Glue gun ( when using felt) to secure the quail’s body on top of an old CD. Stick on the head. Glue the face, wing and tail, which should be stuck at the back. Stick on the beak and the pipe cleaner as the plume on top.
Add the eyes and your quail craft is ready
