  1. oh Gosh…MAJOR Kala Tika..she is so adorable..how did you even manage to get her into it..R toh wont even sit still..actually when I look back..she wont even sit 😉

  2. In Malleswaram, next to Asha sweets is this wedding hall turned exhibition hall.

    One fellow there sells something similar. Very cheap – just 150 bucks.

    I bought one a couple of months ago for my then 6 month old. It was slightly big and I am waiting for the right occasion. No crown though.

  3. I have seen it in Houston’s Hillcroft area. I have not seen it as a complete set. But you can fit the crown and the peacock feather individually. But this is not recently so I am not sure if they are available. Most Indian stores carry such outfits. They will be exorbitant, bad quality and you need some patience to hunt for them. I am sure your friend can find one in her nearest Lil India in USA

  4. I don’t know which state in USA you have in mind. If it is San Francisco Bay Area in California, you may want to try http://www.sagarexclusive.com. They are located in Hayward, California. Even if they don’t have, they can refer to the right store.

  5. You’ve changed the look of your blog.. It loos lovely.. the change is awesome..

    Hey.. the costume is amazing.. I like the little attention to all the details… Hope you were able to find a costume for your friend.. It looks easy to make as well.. Tell her to get it made.. 😉

  6. @swaram: Thanks 🙂
    @R’s Mom: This must be 1 of the hundreds of pics i must have clicked. It is tough to get them to sit straight.

    @Disha: thanks:)
    @patricia: Thanks 🙂 I told her the same. We get these silk stitched dhotis readymade in bangalore. I told her I could make the mukut & flute.

    @pooh, SG : I’m not sure which part of US my friend wants to send it to. But will tell her.

  7. Seesh… i’ve missed this one too.
