Wouldn’t it be fun to create a tiger character of your own? Well now, you are going to get an opportunity to do just that – using your very own handprint! Here is a cute little handprint tiger craft for you to make and customize!

How to make the Super Cute Handprint Tiger Craft for Kids:
1. Download and print the Handprint Tiger Craft template. The template includes parts of the tiger, like the head, face, ears, nose and tail tip. The handprint is the body of the tiger – you can either use the template provided or make your own handprint by drawing an outline of your hand.
2. Trace the parts of the template on craft papers of the appropriate colors, which in this case is orange since the animal in question is a tiger! The ears and tail tip can be beige, while the cheeks can be a blush or pink color.
3. Attach the small ears on the ear-shaped parts of the tiger’s head.
4. Stick the broad stripe along the middle of the tiger’s head, aligning the narrow edge with the top of the head. Stick the face on top of this, aligning its bottom edge with the bottom of the head.
5. Attach the nose in the middle of the tiger’s head, so that it ends up on the intersection of the central stripe and the lower face cutout. Stick the little blush circles on the two ends of the face.
6. Attach the tail tip on the well, tip of the tail! This would be the tip of the ‘thumb’ of the handprint. Now it’s time to add some details to our handprint tiger craft! Use a pencil to draw little triangles to resemble stripes, on the head and body. Add eyes and a mouth on the face too, along with some spots on either side of the nose.
7. Take out a black Sharpie and draw over the pencil lines. Now our handprint tiger craft is looking bright!
8. Fill in the stripes with the same black Sharpie.
9. Nearly there! Apply glue on the palm-end of the handprint and attach the head on top.
There you go – your handprint tiger craft is complete and it is looking super cute!
Now, how do you customize this handprint tiger craft? You can remove the cheeks, or add a cute little bow on top. You can stick little googly eyes instead of drawing them on. You can give it a fun name and an entire personality – it’s a great imaginative exercise for kids and they are sure to enjoy it!
