@meira : Oh there are lot of options!! Chennapatna toys on the way to mysore like swaram said. (Available in cauvery emporium on MG Road bangalore).. I think in andhra too there is a place where they do make it. I’ll get more info and update this post soon.

These wooden toys are amazing. I remember taking a train to Calcutta from Delhi every year in summer.There were men selling some beautiful wooden toys in Mughalsarai station. We loved them and my mom always bought some for all the cousins. Even cottage industry in Delhi stocks these lovely toys.
