I know a lot of you have been wondering where I had disappeared off to. Well, Hubby had a saturday off after ages (Weekend classes at IIM were cancelled) so we decided to make most of the opportunity n head off to a weekend holiday. By Friday evening we  had still not decided where we wanted to go!! We hadn’t been to mudumalai before and when we read this review, we thought it was perfect for us.
I’m going to stop and let the pics do the talking
Lil P sang a rainbow song for the animals of the jungle with her xylophone.
We bought it at a store in chennapatna Rs- 200/-
Mysore road
The dining area of the resort
Father n daughter
View from the room
Bison at the jungle safari
Ooty
Ooty – Coonoor train ride
Herd of elephnats
Hundreds of deer grazing near the resort
Somethings we overheard 😉
I am singing rainbow song for animals so that they come and dance –
Red , Orange, yellow green,
Blue, indigo & purple.
Come animals, come and dance.
 I love you black elephant
I love you yellow lion
I love you brown deer
I love u green peacock
I love you red elephant, pink elephant etc etc.. to the tune of silly giggles.
The peacock don’t like photos thats why they are running away
mumma look lots of creatures..
I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee rabbits.
Mumma I don’t like tigers. I don’t want tigers
I want to play only
I want to sing morer n morer so that morer animals can come
I want to see crow NOW!!
Look, pappa elephant, mumma elephant, baby elephant, ajji elephant n adoda elephant. Where is maushi elephant?
Look mumma , deer are fighting. They are bad boy.
Mumma, peacock eats lots of vebetables thats why it has long tail.
I want to see only 3 peacocks because i’m 3 years old
mumma i have to talk softly otherwise animals will run away
This is baby train.. where is its mumma??
Hubby to Lil P : Look at that Bison. I don’t like buffallo
and the icing on the cake – I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeee holiday. 🙂
We do too sweety, we do too!

Beautiful pics all! I’m impressed that lil P made up that song, is creativity genetic or does it rub off over time?! 🙂

Would be nice if u cd post some details about child-friendly places to stay, eat and any tips. I’ve been to these places before, but travelling with a kid seems daunting somehow.

Also, what/where is chennapatna, I’d like to get some of these toys for P
