With Brazil’s Independence Day coming up on 7th September, we’re celebrating all things Brazil at Artsy Craftsy Mom today. Brazil got its independence from the Portuguese in 1822, after being their colony for 322 years. It is the reason why Brazil speaks mainly Portuguese, even though other Latin American countries like Mexico, Argentina and Cuba speak Spanish.
