One of the most controversial topics in modern society is this – should pizza have pineapple on it? Sounds like a pretty simple question, but you won’t believe the fights it has caused!

What’s interesting is that pizza with pineapple is called Hawaiian pizza, but it was invented by a Greek man living in Canada. That’s a lot of countries involved in a pizza!

It is said that Sam Panopoulos simply put some canned pineapple on a pizza in his restaurant on a whim, thus setting the stage for many pizza battles!

Well, everyone has their own personal preference, but the fact is that you cannot ignore pineapples – they are an integral part of many cuisines!
