Celebrate the release of Disney’s Inside Out 2 with these fun Inside Out Movie Crafts! Help kids learn about emotions and how to manage them.
Emotions are a heavy topic, even for us adults. It can be really hard to articulate how we’re feeling at times, and it can be harder learning how to manage our feelings. So imagine how hard it must be to explain this to a child!
Thankfully, Pixar and Disney got together and made a movie that tackles this – in a super fun and very colorful manner. Yes, we’re talking about Inside Out, the super hit 2015 movie, which is getting a sequel this month!
What is Inside Out?
Inside Out is a movie about a young girl, Riley, and the emotions in her head. The movie focuses on how her emotions change and deal with her changing life circumstances, by also making use of memories.
The story of the movie was developed after consulting several experts, including psychologists and neuroscientists, so that it would be as accurate a representation of human emotions as possible. The result is a movie that is ideal for children of all ages – young kids learning about feelings, older kids entering puberty, as well as college students stepping out into the world for the first time.
Inside Out came out in 2015, and after a long wait, we’re getting a sequel in June 2024. We think it calls for a celebration, and we’re doing it with a bunch of interesting Inside Out movie crafts!
