Well, the weather is certainly warmer and we’re beginning to see all the signs of spring! Little birds chirping, flowers blooming and butterflies and bees flying around – a welcome change from winter! Even the most sullen person can’t help but become cheerful under such pleasant circumstances! We’ve been featuring some fun spring crafts for kids to make, but we don’t want the tiny ones to feel left out. Free Printable Spring Themed Play Dough Mats
Materials Required:
- Non toxic, Child safe Play dough in different colors
- Printouts of our Free Printable Spring Themed Play Dough mats
Instructions:
1. Once you’ve printed out the play dough mats in color, get them laminated so they can withstand hours of play.
2. Spread out some newspaper or an old tablecloth.
3. Hand the laminated sheets to your little one along with the play dough. Start by pinching out small bits of play dough, rolling them into a ball and then shaping or flattening them to fit the shapes.
The kids don’t have to stick to the recommended color themes; let their imagination run wild! The best part of this game is that you can reuse the mats – just wipe down when done.
Toddlers will love these Spring Themed Play Dough Mats and they’ll enjoy getting all squishy with the play dough!
