Finally I could get a recipe right.. Really want to thank Monika for this. 🙂 Thanks sweetheart.. First for explaining the baking ABCs to me and 2nd for introducing this site.  I am slowly gaining confidence in baking. So this Saturday, I decided to follow a recipe to the DOT and see if I really have it in me to bake! I have still not been able to get hold of the measuring cups so I didn’t want to try recipes that just gave measurements in cups.. I used the kitchen weighing scale this time and kept all materials handy and measured. Presenting my first success story
Banana Walnut Muffin /Cake

Recipe is from here ..

Next week I’m going to try Chocolate cake and icing.. Do send me your recipes for the Yummy Tummy Wednesday.. I’d love to know what’s cooking at your place too.

    You’re welcome!
There are some other awesome bloggers I follow who are quite experts at baking, like Champa’s http://versatilekitchen.blogspot.com that has lot of basic baking & tips good for beginners too and Deeba’s that has quite a lot of advanced stuff with awesome pictures.
I can give you more links if you’re interested 🙂

And thanks for your comment on my blog! Let me read more baking posts from you or if you have any questions & then let’s see if I can give any inputs out of my little experience 🙂

    I can imagine the happiness!
That’s a wonderful site with recipes & videos by Stephanie – even helps a newbie like me to understand what ‘dropping consistency’ should the batter actually LOOK like! 🙂
    Another great site is Madhuram’s http://www.egglesscooking.com 🙂
    Have fun!
