As we say goodbye to winter and welcome spring, it’s time to start hearing the little ‘cheep cheep’ of baby birds around us. Isn’t that simply one of the best sounds to hear when you wake up in the morning? It certainly is my favorite!

Besides spring, there are other reasons to celebrate birds this month. For one, February is National Bird Feeding Month and secondly, 10th February is the beginning of Homes for Birds Week. What’s more, this month is also Responsible Pet Owners Month, and since birds are among the top 5 popular pets, it counts!

With this month being so special in terms of birds, it’s only appropriate that we have a quick little celebration of our own and we’re doing it the way we know best – with crafts! Here are 15 adorable birdhouse crafts for kids to make and play with this spring.
