For most children around the world, a teacher is a person they consider their ‘third parent’.
“A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instill a love of learning.” – Brad Henry
It is the teacher who they look up to for advice or support, whom they receive guidance from and whom they fear when they mess up. The only difference is that all this ‘parenting’ is done at school.
Since I’m a parent myself, I can more than appreciate what my child’s teacher is doing for her – and so many others too!
Teaching young kids is a huge responsibility – it is the opportunity to shape minds. But that’s not to say that it’s an easy job!
So this Teacher Appreciation Week, let your teacher know how much you and your little ones acknowledge all the great work she’s doing. And we have just the thing to help you with it – Free Printable Teacher Appreciation Cards!
