Iguanas are big herbivorous lizards from the reptile family. Found in tropical areas, these animals have fascinated many kids.
Here are some fun facts about the Iguana
- The iguana is mostly an herbivore, meaning that it likes to eat plants, including leaves and fruit.
- The Iguana is a reptile; It has scales and is cold-blooded
- The Iguana’s tail is nearly half its body size, which helps it punch its enemy
- Iguanas have sharp claws that help them climb trees
- Iguanas are excellent swimmers and can stay for nearly 20 – 30 minutes underwater without surfacing
The internet isn’t exactly overflowing with Iguana crafts and we wondered how to make this at first, but then old CDs came to the rescue! We love upcycling and recycling things over here at Artsy Craftsy Mom, and we did the same with our iguana craft!
