When Preethi started her IK store a year back, she had a brand new post box [ letter box]  on her desk and was wondering how to spruce it up a bit… As usual, I jumped at the idea of doing something with it. Its been a year since that discussion, when I happily carried the post box back home with me.. Thank god for good friends who don’t complain 😉 .. Anyway, I gave it a coat of red oil paint last week.. and once it dried, I painted some warli figures on it.I think its a good present for her store’s  1st year anniversary .. hehe.

Here is the step by step pic and the final outcome 🙂

It still needs to dry fully and needs a coat or two of clear varnish. Doesn’t it look fab now?

and erm… if you want to see it, drop by at her lovely store .. she even has an end of season sale going on…  Hugs Preethi – Hope you like this rather belated anniversary present! 🙂
