Supplies required:
- Craft paper in different colors
- Markers
- Scissors
- Glue
How to make the Star Wars Bookmarks:
1. Download and print the Star Wars bookmarks template. The template contains parts for different Star Wars characters like Han Solo, Princess Leia, Boba Fett, Yoda, Chewbacca and Kylo Ren.
2. Trace the parts of the template on craft papers of the appropriate colors and cut them out. Let’s not go crazy here – stick to the original color schemes! That means white for Princess Leia, brown for Chewbacca, green and brown for Yoda, green for Bob Fett, black and grey for Kylo Ren and white, brown and blue for Han Solo.
3. Let’s start assembling the Star Wars bookmarks characters one by one. Start with Princess Leia. Stick her space buns hair on the face, and then stick the head on top of the white robe.
4. Attach the hands to the sleeves with glue. Now stick them on the robe so that they slant inwards. Remember to apply glue only to the top of the arms – the hands part should be left free.
5. Use a black marker to draw eyes, a nose and a mouth. Draw two small pink circles for cheeks. The first one of our Star Wars bookmarks is ready!
6. Moving on to Baby Yoda next. Stick the head on the brown robe and attach the hands to the sleeves with glue.
7. Take out your black marker and draw eyes and a mouth, and just the hint of a nose.
8. Apply glue to either side of the top ends of the robe and stick the arms on. The hands should be free. Great, now Yoda is done!
9. Similarly, complete the remaining of your Star Wars bookmarks. There are just a few differences for the other characters. Han Solo has pants and a waistcoat, while Chewbacca has a bandolier. Kylo Ren and Bob Fett both have belts, while Bob Fett also has an extra attachment on his helmet. For all the characters, remember to leave the hands free, applying glue only to the upper ends of the arms. That’s the only way you can use them to hold your page!
To use your Star Wars bookmarks, simply slide the page between the hands and the body of your character and they’ll hold it in place! Don’t forget to check out our other Star Wars crafts:
