I just found some old thermocol sheet crafts that I  had painted ages ago! I think I was in school when I made them. Yup! I still have them. πŸ™‚

ThermocolSheetCraft1

and this other time, we had a quality fest at office (Way back in 2004) .. where the theme was β€œbugs (defects) are our friends.. not enemies” .. something like that. So I had painted quite a few β€œhappy” bugs on thermocol sheet and distributed to our entire unit. Thats an old pic of mine.. The Bugs are decorating my cubicle. They still do πŸ™‚

πŸ™‚ Excuse the bad quality of pics..

Steps:
  1. I’ve used a Thermocol sheet about 1/2 inch wide.
  2. Traced on a design using blue carbon paper. Most times I just directly draw onto the sheet using a yellow sketch pen.
  3. Then cut it using a 6inch blade. The trick is to insert the blade all through and  take it out completely only when the entire design is cut.
  4. Paint using acrylic colors mixed with a bit of fevicol πŸ™‚

The first set of dolls, I think that was the “in” thing to do when you were in school. I did one too, and have very fond memories of my art teacher πŸ™‚
