Got old stationery? Repurpose them into these Cute Crafts to Make with Stationery Supplies! Perfect as back to school gifts for friends or for teachers.

Who doesn’t love stationery? I used to be embarrassed that I had a bigger collection of stationery supplies than my school going child, but not anymore! Now, I proudly display my stash and use it too!

However, while I don’t think one can have too much stationery, you can end up with a few things you’re not sure what to do about. And this is where repurposing comes to the rescue! Turn all those odds and ends or extras into brand new creations, that look even better than the raw materials. Isn’t recycling great?

Since 26th March is Stationery Day, it’s only fitting that stationery lovers across the world should unite – to make some cute crafts out of stationery supplies! There really is no limit to what you can use, so let’s get creating!

1. 3D Paper Stars from Post Its

Babble Dabble Do turns the humble post it note into something spectacular – post it paper stars!! The best part of this craft is that you can make stars in so many colors – as many colors as there are post its! Use them as holiday decor or to decorate a wrapped gift – or simply make a colorful banner out of them!

2. Paper Clip Earrings

Paper clips as earrings? You wouldn’t think it was likely till Oho Deco showed us it could be done! And it’s been done quite cleverly, utilizing little more than old magazines and paper clips – a fully recycled craft if ever there was one!

3. DIY Expandable Pocket Clipboard

Got old stationery? Repurpose them into these Cute Crafts to Make with Stationery Supplies! Perfect as back to school gifts for friends or for teachers.

If you love using your clipboard, you know it can get old quite fast. But that doesn’t mean it goes in the trash! Check out how Gathering Beauty has turned an ordinary clipboard into a cool organizer. First revamp the clipboard to make it pretty, and then add as man pockets and things as you want!

4. DIY Pencil Vase

We just love the simplicity of this craft from Happy Family Blog. All you need are colored pencils of the same height and an old jar to make this bright looking vase, that can also double up as a pen holder. Put in some flowers, tie a bow and you have the perfect teacher gift.

5. Paper Clip Statement Necklace

We’ve seen how you can make earrings out of paper clips, now how about a statement necklace? How about Orange shows us that this is easier than you think, with paper clips and tape. The clips hold everything in place, so all you need is a clasp.

6. Post It Pin Wheels

Here’s another smart post it craft from Smart School House – pin wheels! It makes you wonder why no one has thought of it before, the very shape of post it notes seem to be meant for pin wheels!

7. Gold Thumbtacks Wall Art

You wouldn’t generally associate thumbtacks with glamour but Brit.Co does it in style! With brass thumb tacks and matching duct tape, you can create some contemporary and stylish wall art – with very little effort!

8. DIY Rubber Band Cuff

Don’t toss away all those rubber bands, Delighted Momma has an idea for you! This rubber band cuff is so easy and so fun – it’s the ideal craft for preteens to wear and gift their friends – an alternative to friendship bracelets!

9. DIY Decorated Pencil Frame

When you have pencils of the same length, the pencil vase shown above is a good idea, but when you have pencils in different lengths, you can still put them to use – in this photo frame by DIY Inspired! This is the perfect way to make use of those bits and pieces that are too small to hold in your fingers.

10. Duct Tape Succulents

Succulents are all the rage these days, and Home Talk shows us how easy it is to make your own with duct tape. Get tape in different shades of green for a cute little collection like the one shown in the picture.
