Here’s an easy DIY Eid ul Adha card that looks like a regular card, but has a hidden secret compartment inside! Perfect to hide some treats or gifts!
Every major world religion has its own special site for pilgrimage, where people across the world flock to. Each site is unique in its own way, with its own traditions and rituals. For Muslims, this site is Mecca, a city in Saudi Arabia, where they go for pilgrimages called Hajj and Umrah.
A Hajj pilgrimage is often considered a once-in-a-lifetime event for most Muslims, and it is done during the Dhul-Hijjah, the final month of the Islamic calendar. The 10th of Dhul-Hijjah is celebrated as Eid ul Adha, which is also called the Feast of the Sacrifice.

4. Stick on washi tape across the top 1/3rd of the matchbox. Stick the box on the card, with the pipe cleaner at the bottom.
5. Stick on a glitter foam moon and stars. Let it shine!

This DIY Eid ul Adha card shows the Kaaba against the starlit sky – the Kaaba is a black, square building in Mecca, built by the Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) and his son Ismail. When Muslims across the world pray, they face the direction of the Kaaba. Since the building is so important, we thought it deserved the spotlight and that’s why we have it on this cute little card!
