  1. My youngsters are into Inspector Dewey by Kristen Heimerl, isnpectordewey.com is her site for it. We have an idea that we do with books like these, I read it to them and they draw what they think the characters in the book look like. This is a perfect book for that as the cats are so colorful and the kids love to put their personal touch on them!

    1. Yea! I love that your kids enjoy drawing Dewey and the gang! There are some super-fun free arts and crafts downloads on InspectorDewey.com. I brought the coloring pages and top secret name tags, Dewey cut-out face mask, and a few other detective-themed activities from the Inspector Dewey Day Kit to a couple schools earlier this week and they were a huge hit. There’s just something about being a super-sleuth!
