Supplies required:
- Toilet Paper Roll
- Colored craft paper
- Craft glue
- Pencil
- Colored Sharpies or markers
- A pair of scissors
How to make the Toilet Paper Roll Peppa Pig Craft:
1. Download and print the toilet paper roll Peppa Pig craft template. The template includes parts of Peppa Pig, like head, ears, cheek, snout, eyes, arms, tail and a large rectangle for the dress.
2. Trace the parts of the template on craft paper of the appropriate colors and cut them out. We’ve used light pink for the head and all the other body parts, dark pink for the nose and cheek and red for the dress.
3. Stick the ears on top of the head so that they’re somewhat in the middle.
4. Stick the nose to the end of the snout, so the outer ends align. Attach the circles for the eyes along the top edge of the head.
5. We’ve specified that this is an ‘adorable’ toilet paper roll Peppa Pig craft, so let’s make Peppa cute by sticking a pink cheek on her face!
6. Time to get the facial features done! Use a pink Sharpie to draw outlines as well as nostrils and a smile. Take a black Sharpie and make small spots inside the eyes.
7. Now that Peppa’s face is done, let’s move on to the dress. Cover the toilet paper roll with the dark pink rectangle, applying glue all over the toilet paper roll.
8. Time to put our together! Stick Peppa’s head on top of the toilet paper roll, applying glue on the inside of it.
9. Take Peppa’s arms and apply some glue on the top ends, and attach them to the sides of the toilet paper roll, so that the hands are free.
10. Almost there! Stick the little curly tail on the side of the toilet paper roll.
That’s it – you’re done! Your toilet paper roll Peppa Pig craft is complete!
We love how easy it is to put this craft together, and yet the result turns out so similar to the real Peppa Pig you see on TV! This is a great project for young kids, with a little help from Mom or Dad, or an older sibling. Another thing we like is that you can either put this up on a shelf in your child’s room or use it to play. Your toilet paper roll Peppa Pig can jump up and down in makeshift puddles, or snort while speaking! Go ahead and have fun with it!
