Supplies required:
- Craft papers
- Empty TP roll
- Pencil
- Craft glue
- A pair of scissors
- Sharpies
How to make the Toilet Paper Roll Angel Craft:
1. Download and print the toilet paper roll angel craft template. This template includes parts of the angel – hair, fringe, head, hands, arms, wings and halo.
2. Trace the parts of the template on craft papers of the appropriate colors and cut them out. We’ve gone with a light blue theme for our angel’s outfit, but you could also go with white or another pastel color.
3. Let’s start our paper roll angel craft by fixing her hair! Stick the fringe on top of the face. Attach the hands to the ends of the arms with glue.
4. Stich the head on top of the hairpiece so that it is visible around the angel’s face.
5. Sitck the angel’s eyes on the face, right under the fringe.
6. Take out your black sharpie and draw the nose and mouth. Use a pink marker to draw blush spots on the cheeks. Stick the yellow strip for the halo on top of the head, applying glue on the back. Our toilet paper roll angel is coming along nicely!
7. Now what does your paper roll angel need to look like a real angel? A halo of course! Attach the halo ring on the strip with glue.
8. Let’s put aside the head of our paper roll angel and move on to the body. Take the an empty toilet paper roll and cut away at the two edges, making sure to cut at a slant.
9. Cover the top half of the toilet paper roll with a piece of craft paper – this is the top of the angel’s dress.
10. Now attach the skirt part of the dress below the top. Use a blue marker to add details to the dress if you like.
11. We’re almost done! Stick the head of the angel on top of the toilet paper roll, so the hair falls on the cut edges.
12. Remember those arms? Time to stick them on the front of the body, so the hands meet in the middle.
13. Now we can’t have an angel without wings! Stick the wing cutouts on the back of the toilet paper roll.
That’s it – your Toilet Paper Roll Angel Craft is ready!
What we love about this paper roll angel craft is that all you need is a toilet paper roll and craft paper – nothing extra! If you like, you can attach some string to the top and turn it into a cute Christmas ornament, or you can simply leave it as a decorative piece on the mantel!
