Love bears? We do too, which is why we’ve got this list of adorable Bear Crafts for Kids, just in time for World Bear Day on 23rd March!

If there’s one thing many of us treasure from our childhood possessions, it’s most likely a teddy bear! We’ve all had one at some point in time, whatever size or color it may have been. It was our friend and companion, especially when things got dark and lonely.

Even today, thinking of that special childhood friend of ours brings back fond memories, which is why bears will always have a corner of our hearts. But besides being represented as a stuffed toy, bears are pretty amazing animals too, not to mention pretty big ones!

Since 23rd March is World Bear Day, we thought we’d take this opportunity to learn a little more about what formed the base for our favorite childhood buddy – along with some fun bear crafts for kids! So get ready to make, learn and play – all at the same time!

10 Brilliant Bear Crafts for Kids

1. Easy Preschool Bear Paper Craft

Simple Everyday Mom has an easy peasy bear craft that’s perfect for preschoolers. Baby bears are just adorable, and this cute little baby bear craft is easy enough for the young ones!

2. Printable Bear Paper Crown

We often talk about the grand memory of elephants, but bears are quite good too! Grizzly bears can remember food hotspots as far as ten years later! They can also remember the faces of other bears. So if you’d like to get a strong memory like them, put on this printable bear paper crown and play some fun memory games!

3. Weaving Paper Bear Craft

This bear craft from Krokotak features a bear wearing a sweater, but in reality, bears don’t need them! Bears usually have a layer of short fur to stay warm and long fur to keep water away from their skin.

4. Paper Plate Bear Craft

The OT Toolbox has a cute bear craft made of yarn, which reminds us of Asiatic bears who build nests in trees. Asiatic black bears also feature a lot in Asian mythology, and are referred to as ‘mountain man’ in Japanese culture.

The Soccer Mom Blog probably knows about how bears love their families, which is why they’ve come up with such a cute craft! Bears will do anything to protect their family members, even risking their lives. They also grieve when they lose a loved one, even mourning for weeks. 

9. Paper Cone Brown Bear Craft

This fun paper cone craft  from Our Kid Things may have tape on his mouth, but not real bears, who can up to 20,000 calories a day! Although most bears are considered omnivores, their diet varies a lot, with some bears eating seals and some eating bamboo.

10. Cardboard Tube Bear Craft

Bears are seen in different colors, although they’re often combinations of white, black, grey and brown. Creative Family Fun shows us how we can make our own group of bears in different colors using cardboard tube rolls. By the way, a group of bears is called a sleuth, or a sloth!
