20 Whimsical Fairy Crafts for Kids
This Fairy Day, bring magic into your life and home by making these whimsical and fun fairy crafts for kids! Perfect to play with or to gift your friends!
When I was a kid, one of my favorite book series was the one with the Faraway Tree. Firstly, the idea of different lands appearing at the top of the tree was too exciting. Secondly, what fun characters lived in the tree!
While all the characters had their good and bad points, there was one who was almost perfect – Silky the fairy. She was my favorite character, and I longed to have a fairy like her as a friend!
Fun Facts about Fairies
- Not all fairies are female; some are male, like leprechauns
- Fairy wings aren’t just for flying; they’re also for communication and a status symbol
- Fairy is also spelled as ‘faerie’ or ‘faery’; a male fairy is called a Folly
- Not all myths and legends feature fairies as good; some fairies are demons
- Some fairies are tiny enough to fit on a mushroom, while others are gigantic
Now that we have all that information about fairies, let’s get to celebrating Fairy Day on the 24th of June – and we’re going to do it by making some beautiful fairy crafts for kids! These are fairies that’ll remind you of Silky – they’re almost perfect!
