Easy Toilet Paper Roll Rudolph Craft for Kids
We can’t get over how absolutely adorable this Toilet Paper Roll Rudolph craft is! Easy and fun for kids of all ages to make and play with.
We know of how Santa gets to so many houses on Christmas Eve to deliver his presents – he has a team of reindeer to help him! When we think of Santa’s reindeer, there’s one name that pops up first – Rudolph!
Being so popular, you’d think that he’s the seniormost in the group, but that’s not true – Rudolph is actually the youngest of Santa’s reindeer! But let’s get to the real question:
Why is Rudolph’s nose red?
The story goes that Rudolph’s nose isn’t just red – it’s luminous. Rudolph’s nose is what lights up the way for Santa and the rest of the reindeer to travel. However, science says that reindeer have red noses because they’re full of blood vessels. These vessels warm cold air entering the body, keeping them warm and healthy.
Well, in any case we’re excited, because we’ve got a cute and easy toilet paper roll Rudolph craft for you today, and all you need are a cardboard tube and some craft paper!

Supplies required:
- Empty toilet paper roll/cardboard tube
- Colored craft papers
- Pencil
- A pair of scissors
- Craft glue
- Sharpies
How to make the Toilet Paper Roll Rudolph Craft:
1. Download and print the Toilet Paper Roll Rudolph Craft template. The template contains parts of the reindeer, including head, face, ears, antlers, eyes, nose, cheeks, body and scarf.
2. Trace the parts of the template on craft papers of the appropriate colors and cut them out. We’ve chosen a brown for the reindeer’s head, body and outer ears. We’ve gone with beige for the face and pink for the inner ears and cheeks. The scarf can be any color you like – we’ve chosen green, and of course, the nose has to be red, since this is Rudolph we’re talking about!

3. Let’s start putting together our toilet paper roll Rudolph craft! Stick the inner ears inside the outer ears.

4. Attach the face to the bottom of the head, so that the bottom curved edges are aligned.

5. Apply glue to the pointy ends of the ears and stick them behind the head.

6. Similarly, apply glue to the bottom ends of the antlers and stick them behind the head, in between the ears.

7. Time for Rudolph’s identifying feature – the red nose! Stick it in the middle of the face, at the point where the two curves meet. Stick the cheeks on the bottom edge of Rudolph’s face – don’t worry about them sticking out – we’ll take care of them in the next step.

8. Trim the overhang parts of the cheeks, so that they align perfectly with the curve of Rudolph’s face. Stick the eyes above the cheeks, on either side of the nose. Our toilet paper roll Rudolph craft is beginning to look good!

9. Use a black marker to draw a tiny little mouth under the nose.

10. Let’s get to the base of our toilet paper roll Rudolph craft – the body. Cut out a rectangle from the same brown paper you used for the head. The width of the rectangle should be the same as the height of your toilet paper roll and the length should be long enough to cover the roll completely.

11. Apply glue all over the toilet paper roll and cover it with the rectangle from the previous step. Now you may wonder if this is necessary since the toilet paper roll is already brown, but doing this makes your toilet paper roll Rudolph craft look neater.

12. Time to dress Rudolph! Take the parts of the scarf – a long strip and a smaller piece.

13. Attach the small part of the scarf to the bottom edge of the long strip.

14. Wrap the paper scarf around the top end of the toilet paper roll and secure in place with glue. Now attach the head on top of the scarf and your toilet paper roll Rudolph is ready!

Now tell me, have you seen a cuter Rudolph? This toilet paper roll Rudolph is easy enough for young kids to make, although they’ll need assistance with the cutting. If you have more toilet paper rolls to spare, make more reindeer, but with brown noses, so that Rudolph can stand out!
