Learning about frogs and toads will feel simple with our F for Frog Craft. Who doesn’t like frogs? At least in my house, my daughter loved jumping around like a frog when she was a toddler! My extended family stays right in the middle of a tropical forest, we spent plenty of time observing them in their natural habitat, along with doing plenty of fun frog activities.
This adorable frog craft needs a printable template, Felt and a CD to make. You could easily substitute the Felt with Foam or Construction paper, even cardstock.
Supplies needed to make this F for Frog Craft:
- Printable Template
- Dark Green Felt or Construction Paper or craft foam sheets
- Light Green Felt or Construction Paper or craft foam sheets
- Red Felt or Construction Paper or craft foam sheets
- An old CD
- Glue Gun or Glue stick if using paper.
- Googly Eyes
Steps to make this F for Frog Craft:
Print the Craft template on an A4 or Letter Sized paper. Cut out all the parts – the green body, feet, tongue & mouth.
Use these cutout templates as your reference points and trace onto Felt. We used a 2mm stiff felt to make this craft. Alternately, you could use construction paper or craft foam in similar colors.
Use a Glue gun ( when using felt) to secure the frog’s body on top of an old CD. Glue the eyes, mouth, and tongue. Then arrange the webbed feet on top of the semi-circle feet. Glue them to the CD at the back.
Add the eyes and your frog craft is ready
