The world today is a harsh place, and it’s not fun to listen to the news. That’s why we need a break from all the greyness, and nothing can be more colorful than a fun book like Dr. Seuss. And if you ask us, we think his most whacky characters are definitely Thing1 and Thing2!

Dr. Seuss had the option of writing books with a moral lesson, but he didn’t. He believed that kids were smart enough to identify ‘moral stories’ and that they would much rather prefer quirky characters like Thing 1 and Thing 2, who had absolutely no inclination in sending across a moral lesson!

We know that Thing1 and Thing2 are twins, who popped out of the box brought in by The Cat in the Hat. We also know that they created a lot of chaos, and it was quite a task to stop them! However, what many of us don’t know is that there’s also a Thing3 and Thing4, who come in when the Cat in the Hat needs them!
