Mothers Day Fox

Sharing is caring!

This Mother’s Day Fox Card for Kids is too cute for words! It features a sweet Mama Fox and her little baby cub, locked together in a hug!

We know that mothers will go to any length to protect their children, and we often hear stories that reflect this. One story is about a baby who got stuck in a wire trap for two weeks – but survived because her mother brought her food every single day.

Yes, that’s a horrible accident for a baby, but the baby here was a fox cub – and her mother was a sprightly vixen who refused to let her baby die!

Yes, foxes are excellent parents, especially Mama foxes. A female fox stays underground in a den for many months, caring for her pups till they are capable of venturing out into the wild. That’s how dedicated they are!

Vixens have 4-6 cubs at once, usually around spring. Since this is immediately followed by Mother’s Day, we can’t think of a better icon for a Mother’s Day card – which brings us to today’s adorable craft!
