Quarantined with kids? Take an #ARTSYCRAFTSYBREAK

Thank you for joining me today in my quest to keep families inspired & creative in these tough times.

School is canceled, kids are home, you might be working from home, and your routines are all messed up. This is brand new territory for all of us, we’ve never dealt with a pandemic before. Coronavirus has stopped everything – yet life goes on.

Wondering how to keep kids indoors, safe & entertained?

I have come up with a 30-day #ArtsyCraftsyBreak Challenge that will hopefully bring some fun & creativity to your day. Our Free PDF can help promote imagination, joy, and problem-solving while peppering in some of STEAM concepts and skills that your kids will be missing over the next few weeks.

Each day I will be sharing a new Prompt on Instagram along with lots of ideas and inspiration for you to follow along with your child. Older kids can do the prompt on their own too.

Eg – one of the prompts is “Fish” – Record an activity that is loosely based on the theme of the day – It could be a picture or video of your child feeding a fish, making a craft fish, cooking fish, fish artwork, reading a book based on Fishes, watching a documentary about fishes, making their own Fishing game at home, writing a story or a poem about Fishes, watching a movie about a fish ( Finding Dory? ) … the possibilities are endless and definitely each home can interpret as their own.

At the end of the day, upload this picture on Instagram with the tag #artsycraftsybreak with @artsycraftsymom … Every week I will be choosing a random winner via lucky draw.

Enter your email & I will email the Prompt Sheet to you
