Each day I will be sharing a new Prompt on Instagram along with lots of ideas and inspiration for you to follow along with your child. Older kids can do the prompt on their own too.

Eg – one of the prompts is “Fish” – Record an activity that is loosely based on the theme of the day – It could be a picture or video of your child feeding a fish, making a craft fish, cooking fish, fish artwork, reading a book based on Fishes, watching a documentary about fishes, making their own Fishing game at home, writing a story or a poem about Fishes, watching a movie about a fish ( Finding Dory? ) … the possibilities are endless and definitely each home can interpret as their own.

At the end of the day, upload this picture on Instagram with the tag #artsycraftsybreak with @artsycraftsymom … Every week I will be choosing a random winner via lucky draw.

Enter your email & I will email the Prompt Sheet to you

Day 2 – 17th March – Animals

Animals, oh my! My favorite theme on the blog 🙂 Now Interpret this theme to include literary activities like a story about an animal, an essay about your favorite animal, or an imaginary one ala Dr. Seuss. It could be an artwork, watching a documentary or a movie with a central animal character. Your interaction with an actual live animal.. maybe on a trip that you had.. or a pet that you care about. Learn or sing a song about animals. The choices are limitless.
